# W VIBE — living project brief

Updated: 2026-09-06. Owner: jpc. Phase: actual Devnet data and asset-system validation.

## Direction

W VIBE is a mobile-friendly web experience for Gen Z creators, streamers and their communities, especially creators with substantial spending power. A rare individual find can also earn the spotlight. The appeal is public ownership, rarity, mystery and recognizable change. **Your flex. Always shifting.** **No cap** means truthful evidence without removing the excitement.

The current product direction is to buy collections of disclosed rare assets at defined prices, or discover eligible individual assets. Discovery is not required for every category. No connected virtual world or geographic mirror is planned. A neighborhood or fictional city may serve as a grouping; an individual mansion needs no coordinates. Cats are a category in their own right; original unbranded cars and watches are candidates, and artwork is not a current asset category. Visual quality still matters.

Conduct brief first-pass discussions asset by asset, document them, then revisit before implementation. Watches' first-pass direction is **no Discovery for now**; mechanism, precision, interactivity, evolution and case presentation remain open. The prototype's sealed Stashes and three-lock games remain technical examples, not settled product choices. [Current asset workshop](ASSET-SYSTEM.md).

Cats' selected first-pass direction is **animated cartoon cats, progressively revealed, then animation begins**. Realistic cat pictures are excluded. Detailed style, timing, behavior, traits, Discovery/acquisition and implementation remain open. **Next discussion: original, unbranded cars.**

## Selected architecture

Solana owns encoded identity, ownership/finder and immutable issuance inputs. The compiled v0.3.0 program derives birth rarity, initial issue price, scheduled state and previous/current platform test prices. Our server authenticates the bound recipe and renders the current and previous Look. Claims and transfers preserve birth time; V2/V3 reject manual counter increments.

Minute/hour/day/month/year cadences and four-phase price profiles are implemented test rules. Ownership changes the displayed price role, not the current formula. Initial price, program price, seller ask, recorded sale and any future market estimate remain distinct. Production economics and global supply enforcement are open.

D1 and persistent inventory caching are deferred. Read-only program simulations use a common chain time with a reported slot range across batches. Each server request owns its RPC work and deadline; live promises are never shared across visitors. The independent network footer retains its short status cache.

Evolution is the primary rarity factor in the implemented V3 formula, with a smaller authored behavior score. The active batch contains only two minute-shifting records. W VIBE-only issuance and immutable reward rights are now enforced by the program. See [Minting](MINTING.md) for exact starting rules and their limits. Actual asset design may change these factors, the program and games.

## Implemented

The Flex, Moves and Moments use 100 actual Devnet records: three temporary image types, five issuance-bound schedules, four birth rarity tiers, 61 revealed and 39 hidden items, 35 featured Dubs and eight Stashes. Controlled activity includes individual sales, a five-item mystery-Stash sale, a gift, a claim and seller-ask changes. Scheduled Shifts show the immediately previous/current Look and program price. Hidden members and their events are excluded server-side. See [HOMEPAGE-V1.md](HOMEPAGE-V1.md) for the complete contract.

Public visitors share fixed Moment posters/captions; future members clip under a program still being defined. The accepted animated W vibe wordmark is retained. Browsing needs no wallet; My Stash offers an optional real Phantom address/test-balance read. The Chase now implements three asset-selected games, reveal-only play and wallet-signed designated free Devnet claims. Consumer purchases and paid clipping are not implemented. An unlinked `/reel` page presents three AI concept clips, animated intertitles and an exploratory watch Look Shift in a single playback area. The public lab remains a disposable technical playground.

## Next

Continue first-pass asset conversations, then refine the set and derive minting, hierarchy, rendering, discovery and program requirements from the chosen behavior. Do not implement brainstorming options yet. Preserve current technical evidence while keeping intended product direction distinct from the live prototype.
